Just finished up 6 classes at the Groundlings and it was a blast! Met more than a few cool people during my stay. I feel that improv is a great place to start for anyone interested in performing as it helps build a solid foundation to build from. Teamwork, making connections, and being mindful of the present are a few great things that improv teaches you. Now that I'm back in Birmingham, I'll be continuing my classes with Positively Funny Inc. and moving my way through their program while I keep building myself up. My overall goal is still to get into animation voice over, but I'm more than happy to move diagonally forward just as long as it's forward!
